If you had to choose 3 words to describe yourself, what would they be? Positive, hard-working, strong (mentally and physically)
Fun/interesting fact about you that most people don’t know? One time I was bored and made a list of how many boys I had kissed. It was around 75.
How long have you been training with Performance Fitness? Five years
How did you hear about Performance Fitness? Fellow boot camper Kerry Heppen
What would you say is the single biggest reason why you decided to get help with your fitness? I was unhappy with my body.
What fitness and/or weight-loss results have you achieved since joining boot camp/training? I changed eating habits after doing the fall 2014 clean up. I did
the winter one and was able to get a “vacation body” and lost 11 pounds from my highest weight. The combination of nutrition and boot camp also left me amazed at how many push-ups and pistol squats I could do.
Must-have workout song: “Come on Eileen”
Coolest side-effect from working out? Ability to move large pieces of furniture with my husband.
What inspires and motivates you? Fitness-wise – when clothes are getting big for you and people notice changes in your body.
How has boot camp changed your life? I now eat in a totally different way. I would never have done so without boot camp. I have also formed friendships.
Bacon or ice cream? Bacon
Favorite 80s song: “Left of Center” from Pretty in Pink/Suzanne Vega
What are your big goals for the next 3-6 months?
- Lose 10 more pounds.
- Keep tweaking my eating habits so they support my overall goals and lifestyle.
If someone asked you about Performance Fitness what do you tell them? These are the best classes I’ve ever taken in terms of results and the diversity of classes. It’s not always the same. I don’t get bored. It’s fun, and you get to meet other women.
